The Spring Quartet

Holetown in Barbados 2001

We are a wedding specialist music group based in Cheadle. If you are looking for a professional string quartet in Cheshire, Lancashire, Cumbria, South Yorkshire, North Wales, Derbyshire, even the Midlands, look no further. Formed in 1995, we have nearly 20 years experience of playing for weddings in most of the leading venues in north west England, from Corbin Castle in Carlisle to Hampton Manor in Solihull, Knowsley Hall in Liverpool to Carlton Towers in Goole. We have played at Queens College Cambridge and for one of Elton John's guitarists in Goring on Thames, Birmingham Cathedral, Meols Hall in Southport, Ferrari's in Longridge, Ruthin Castle and Soughton Hall in North Wales and, of course, Adlington Hall, The Belfry and the Deanwater, three of our 'locals'.

Being a family, we enjoy playing together, and guests have commented that this rapport comes across in the warmth of our music. Being a specialist wedding quartet, we have developed an understanding of how to add something extra special to what is, after all, a very special occasion. We don't have orchestras to rush off to. If you're running late, we'll still be there. We'll be playing the sort of music you and your guests will enjoy, a kind of 'Classic Fm meets Radio 2' programme.

Here’s a brief history of the Spring string quartet in photos.
